I believe reviews like these are helpful and I myself use them quite frequently especially when looking for a new service. Zazen a year ago seems very different than it is currently. New staff hired seems to have little customer service experience and difficulty remembering they are in a service industry. I believe this salon may be having financial difficulties as they recently called me to ask for a credit card number for a massage that was scheduled 2 weeks from now. Wow really? I too have had day spa services around the country and have NEVER been required to give a credit card number to hold a reservation. If this spa is having issues with clients no-showing then perhaps making a reminder call prior to the appointment as most salons do would address this. But to require a credit card number to make an appointment is not an industry standard.
