Canceled on me a month before wedding
I emailed Natalie months before my wedding and asked her what I had to do to book her. She said there was nothing except I needed to do except email her shortly before the wedding with how many people and to get a trial set up. I at least assumed she wrote down my info and date. I emailed her again to book the trial and she canceled on me saying she now had a work obligation and couldn't do my makeup. Sounded like she wouldn't have even told me if I wouldn't have contacted her. I was left a month before my wedding without a makeup artist. She offered to find me a substitute, but at that point I had a friend offer to do my makeup for free, but my bridesmaids were left to do their own. I have all emails showing these details. A lot of stress and scrambling at the last minute that I did not want to do. Make sure you get a contract with your vendors or don't do business with them.
