Absolutely Horrible even for a one ...
Lousy company with unprofessional staff (Xavier) that are unhelpful and simply horrible customer service. I would rate lower than one star and I would not refer this company to my enemies. My family did a party supply rental and a trackless train for my daughter's birthday party this past weekend (January 10th 2015). The rental portion came on time to set up and that was never an issue and everything was paid in full in cash the day before the party. However, the main part of the party for the children was trackless train and it never showed up for the agreed upon 5PM arrival. We get a call just 15 minutes before the time they were supposed to show up (4:45PM) that the person was not available due to being in the hospital. We did not hear the phone call, but they did send a text in Spanish to call them back as they could arrive at 6PM. This seemed to be the driver's personal cell phone so I will not distribute. However, we texted once and continued to call and it went to voicemail with NO ROOM to leave a message. Additionally, their main phone number of 786 991 5072 seldom has anyone answer the phone and NOBODY answers the phone on the weekend anyways even though they book events on the weekend. Additionally, you cannot leave a message on that phone number because there is NO ROOM to leave a message. They do give you another number on the message of 305 316 2729 and it is not even a professional voicemail as it is two people talking to each other in the background and then you get a beep and then you get a message that says NO ROOM to leave a message. So there were three numbers that we had with this company and there is NO ROOM TO LEAVE A MESSAGE and I gave you two numbers to verify for yourself. I was in desperation so I emailed them hoping that someone, anyone would respond and it was to no avail. We still wanted the person here at 6PM even though it was already dark and half of the party people were getting ready to leave. The person NEVER showed up so the children, including my daughter was extremely sad. So Sunday was another wasted day as I wanted to know what happened and wanted my money that I paid in advance available as soon as they came to pick up the rental supplies and nobody was working (of course). I finally called several times and I finally got a hold of Xavier this morning (Jan 12th). I explained how disappointed the children were and understood that the person was hurt, but nobody answered after we got the missed call and text and we tried for over an hour to get the person here at 6PM. I wanted the money for the paid service that we never got with the trackless train and wanted some sort of compensation for the disaster at the party like a future discounted trackless train or something along those lines. He said he would look into it and get back to me on compensation, but he would ensure that they pay the refund which goes without saying because legally it is not theirs because they never fulfilled the agreed upon service. That is the LEAST they could do because it is "not" their money and this is not even a discussion so it wasn't like he was doing my family a favor. Furthermore, I said if they did not pay upon arrival in cash, they would not be welcomed on my premises to pick up the rental equipment. They obviously have more to lose so they had to refund the amount. When I asked about additional compensation, Xavier refused to help thinking the money refunded was enough even though they missed the appointment and did not show up an hour later and they never answered their texts, phone calls or emails. This company absolutely ruined my daughter's party by not showing up at all and they never had any desire to compensate or offer a make up gesture by trying to right a wrong with a future discount service. They just did what they legally had to do and have zero desire to do anything else like a good business would do to get repeat business. I am convinced that the only reason why they offered me the refund so eagerly is that they would "not" have gotten the rental equipment back from me otherwise. I am absolutely positive that I would have had to chase them down legally to get my family's money back otherwise. I have never seen a company that was so blatantly in the wrong do as little as possible when they ruined a child's birthday party and I will implore you to look at other company's that may cost a little more, but you know you will get a professional service for your hard earned money. Look at the one star reviews on Yelp and you know I am not alone.
Nightmare ! Do not use them !
I am so upset with these people. The lady in customer service is horribly VULGAR ! I wish there was a law that would shut down businesses for disrespecting clients. This lady started yelling at me and even hung up on me 3 times the day before my event only because I was asking her why she was overcharging me, which she stated $ 20 were the taxes on a $ 95 order. I had already paid her a deposit of $ 50 and she just went off insulting me and complaining about her only earning $ 300 a week and not wanting to put up with clients. She was demanding that I needed to pay the driver an additional $ 85 upon delivery and when I told her that what she was doing was against the law she told me this was not Colombia (my native country) I decided not to deal with her so at last minute I had to find another company and dispute the $ 50 transaction through my bank. Please save yourselves headaches do not deal with these people.
