The family that hosts or pays for the wedding normally sends the invitations.
When writing your invitations, be sure to write out the recipient's name in full. If you are not certain about the spelling of a middle name, leave it out entirely rather than writing a middle initial.
When writing your invitations, be sure to completely spell out all words, including date, year, hour, and address.
Use "...request the honour of your presence" for ceremonies taking place in a religious setting and "...request the pleasure of your company" for ceremonies taking place at a non religious location.
Invitations should be sent to both members of a couple, even if the bride knows only one of them or if only one of them is expected to attend.
