This place is DISGUSTING. My fiance's mom was going to book this place for us as a surprise for our wedding reception in December 2012. We finally saw the place this past Saturday and was appalled. The bathroom is dirty..this woman's "office" is located in the BASEMENT and is just as dirty as the rest of the place. Then we go into the "ballroom" that's when my fiancé lost his mind. To make a long story short, we basically told her that this is not going to work and would be an embarrassment to us to invite our guests to such a disgusting place. She tried everything in her power to try to get us to keep the booking, even telling us that she has decorations in a BOX in her BASEMENT that she could use to create our vision. A box in your basement? Really? Classy. Then when we told her to just keep the deposit, she started threatening to collect the balance for an event that didn't happen trying to dispute what it clearly states on the contract. "In the event that payments are not paid, this will automatically cancel this contract". Selina is a money hungry, scam artist. She is trying to charge over 4,000 for a place that looks like it is worth a hundred bucks, if that much. If you are looking for a classy place at a reasonable rate, go to Villa Russo, located in South Richmond Hill, NY,where we ended up booking. That place is FAB-U-LOUS! If you want dirty, ghetto, visually horrifying, go to Villa Marcello. Selina you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to bribe people into booking such a low class piece of crap. BOOOOOO!
