"THE VINTAGE YEARS ORCHESTRA" is a 14 piece big band orchestra based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The band plays music from the 1920-60s, featuring favorite songs from the big band era, Broadway and Hollywood. The VYO was organized in 1996 and has played for numerous occasions including dances, concerts, weddings and special events. Led by big band enthusiast Spencer Smith, the group also features excellent and experienced vocalists including Clay Coury and Joel Kincaid. The VYO boasts many of NC's finest musicians and is one of the South's best dance orchestras.
