The Foggy Dew plays heartfelt music, choosing their repertoire from the folk lexicon, which often tends towards the Celtic end of the spectrum. They also are attracted to tunes & songs from the English Isles in general & American music—folk, country & Old-Timey. The tunes tend to have beautiful melodies connecting each of the players, enabling them to create music beyond what any one of them could create individually.
