When looking for a specialty cake look no further. I saw Leesa's ad in a magazine and called to discuss a Smurf cake that my daughter wanted for her birthday. The cake looked and tasted great! My daughter was so excited that Smurfett was just as she described to me. Thanks again, Leesa!

Once again Sweetest Expressions did a beautiful cake. This cake required extreme patience because of the level of detail. Leesa simply took the challenge on and delivered a great product!

We provided Leesa with a photo of the owl we hoped she could duplicate for our granddaughter's first birthday cake...She did it perfectly! Everyone ooo'd and aaaahhh'd over it, and "gamma" licked her fingers!! It was yummy as usual!!

This is the cutest cake I think I have ever seen!! I must say it went beyond my expectations!!! The cake was delicious. We all loved how it was flavorful without being overly icky sweet..the strawberry filling was just delightful!! Thank you for making my little guy's 4th birthday very special!! The cake Leesa made for my daughter's 3rd birthday was exactly what I was looking for and couldn't have turned out better. My daughter's face lit up when she saw it!! Even after she opened her presents and was sitting among her new toys she still said the best part of her party was her Snow White cake. And it tasted as delicious as it looked. I can't say enough about Leesa! From our initial conversation to delivery, I couldn't be more pleased. I needed a very unique cake for my brother, who recently graduated to become a Respiratory Therapist. I was at a loss for ideas, and Leesa found and created the PERFECT unique design I was looking for. Not only was the cake as cute as could be, it was DELICIOUS! She listened to my family's cake preference of "not to sweet", "not too rich", and the finished product was light, moist, and just the right amount of sweet. Leesa is an artist! The NC State themed cake for my husbands 65th birthday was not only beautiful but it was so delicious! The cake appearance was great for our Princess and the Frog theme. The cake itself was very moist and the only regret I had is not making the cake bigger because the red velvet was out of this world and I chose that flavor for the adults and I had more adults than I expected. Overall, the cake, the flavor and the service was Superb!!!

The strawberry supreme cake with starwberry buttercreme icing was absolutely delicious!!! Me and my family really enjoyed it and look forward to the many varieties of flavors that Leesa offers. Sweetest Expressions made my little granddaughter's 5th birthday a hit with cupcakes made with the Backyardigans characters. I gave Leesa the theme and she ran with the characters - making them all by hand and perfect. We ordered the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry and while all were delicious the kids went crazy over the strawberry! I had no idea strawberry was such a popular flavor with kids. I will definitely use Sweetest Expressions again for a well-designed as well as delicious cake. You can't ask for a nicer person to work with and the service cannot be beat.

Leesa is an amazing cake artist! I wanted a very special cake for my daughters Sweet 16 Party and Leesa gave us a beautiful show stopper! It was the talk of the party! I was a little nervous at first because I was from out of town and didn't have total control of what I would be getting. But Leesa assured me that I would like it, so I trusted her. That was the best decision that I made. Not only was the cake beautiful and exactly what I wanted, but it was delicious! Leesa Robbins is truly a delight to work with! I was referred to Leesa by a friend who had the opportunity to taste one of Leesa's creations. I was assured that whatever I ordered would exceed my expectations, and it did! Leesa created bowling-themed cupcakes for my son's birthday party. In addition, she was able to make nut-free cupcakes (including icing and decorations) - a requirement for my son and several of his friends. The children and parents were very impressed with the cupcake designs (bowling pins, bowling balls and strikes) -- they were absolutely adorable! The cupcakes themselves were extremely moist and very flavorful - a rare treat and oh so yummy! The parents, who normally pass on the sweet treats, were asking to sample the cupcakes as their children raved about how good they were. Leesa put a lot of thought and care into designing and baking the perfect cupcakes for my son's special day. Leesa will deliver a perfect cake (in taste and design) for your event. Thank you, Leesa!

Leesa is a cake genius! I recently purchased my 2nd cake from her, and was just as impressed as I was with the 1st one she did for me. I have brought her 2 COMPLETELY different cake visions & she was able to make both EXACTLY like I wanted! The cakes could not have looked any more like the pictures I sent her. They were both AWESOME & were worth every penny! I will never buy a store bought cake again! If you want a moist, flavorful cake that lasts for days after the occassion...if you have any left...then Leesa is the person for you!

My experience with Sweetest Expressions was delightful! Leesa listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, and worked with me on to ensure that the design was exactly what I wanted. She kept me updated during the process and worked with my schedule for picking up the cake. The cake was perfect! My 4 year old was overjoyed and the guests at her party were blown away by the design. The cake tasted so good most guests had a second piece and one little boy told his mother that it was the "best cake I ever eated." I will definitely return for my cakes in the future!

My wife and contacted Sweetest Expressions to provide cakes for our daughters 1st birthday. All we really knew was we wanted a Minnie Mouse theme and needed cakes for the party and a smash cake for her pictures. We received the smash cake this weekend (which was pleasantly delivered by Leesa on short notice) and it was INCREDIBLE! I was in the hotel catering business for many years and have worked with multiple bakeries for a variety of occasions. They were nice but very expensive. Sweetest Expressions was extremely affordable but the best part was, this cake was so much nicer than the cakes I saw during my time in catering. Why was it so nice? Because it wasn't just a cake that got pumped out of Leesa's bakery time and again. She put thought and care into designing and baking the cake. It was not only beautiful (so much so that my daughter did not want to smash it) but it tasted DELICIOUS! It was moist with the tastiest icing I have had in a long, long time. I've noticed that Leesa has used the picture of this cake both on this site and on her other avenues for getting the word out about the best bakery in NC! And rightly so...because the cake was, in one word, awesome. We are very excited to see the two cakes for our daughters' birthday next month! Thank you so much for helping make our daughter's big day special! Sweetest Expressions is incredible and you can't go wrong with Leesa and her cakes.
