"Ran out of Food ! ! ! !"
September 2, 2011
The Tallwood Mens Club of Hebron CT hired Sweet Relief for an "all you can eat" BBQ after a Member/Guest type golf tournament for approx 130 players on 08/27/2011. On the positive side, the food (what there was of it) taste/flavor was good. Unfortunately, they were extremely short on the quantity of food provided. At least 9 players got no food at all. At least half of the players were rationed food, (example, we got 1 spare rib). Sweet corn was cold in a awful looking butterlike cold gel. Nobody received "seconds" or "all you can eat". The caterer has not been very receptive of our criticism, he is trying to tell us it is our fault we ran out of food. We paid him over $3,600 upfront on good faith, (we never should have done that). We are suppose to own him another $225 for the meals we never received. This is not a caterer that any of the 290 members of the Tallwood Mens Club would ever recommend.
