To say that Roger Curley made our wedding unique and special is an understatement. Roger created a one- of- a- kind "save the date" portrait postcard that we sent to each of our guests. We also used the image on our wedding website, and on correspondence with our guests. We had the portrait enlarged and it was displayed and then signed by all of our wedding guests. It is a piece that we treasure to this day. Music is very important to our family, and along with us, Roger created a songbook of love ballads that were meaningful for us as a couple. He played these songs as guests arrived to the wedding, he played Pachelbels Canon in D Major for my processional, and then played a large selection (everything from show tunes to jazz) during the cocktail hour before we sat down to eat. Roger is so talented and amenable, that he took requests from captive the audience. As a gift to our guests, Roger put together a one-of-a-kind CD of nearly 30 of our favorite love songs that he played the day we were married. Our wedding was made unique by his ability to span generations with such a diverse crowd (grandmother's to little kids). All were enchanted. He is courteous, calm, professional and affordable. Over a period spanning three decades Roger and I have collaborated on dozens of projects, most notably video productions. He has added to each one immensely with his sensitivity and ability to enhance the script through his keyboard skills. His musical insights are mind boggling. I've worked with several musicians over the years, but none who "get it" as quickly and accurately as Roger. Outside the studio in a live setting, I have witnessed Roger making a room full of people come alive with his musical style and versatility. The joy he feels in playing is truly infectious; you can feel it ripple through the crowd. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any type of event, or any application where well-performed music is a must.
