Moodafaruka’s compositions are a collaboration of cultures. Flamenco, Indian, Arabic, Latin and Western music are woven into a tapestry of sound that is both familiar and new.

We are often compared to artists such as The Gypsy kings, and Ottmar Liebert, and do covers of both. Instrumentation includes classical guitars, violin, bass and percussion such as tabla, dombek and congas. We can perform as a duo or expand to a 7 piece band, depending on on your needs.
