I would reccomend the Monterey Ballroom to anyone who is thinking of using them. The food is great and the service is wonderful. The staff is very easy to work with and everything was in place the day of my wedding without any stress. I was married 2 1/2 months ago and it went to perfect. I am still in a wedding depression because I want to do my perfect day all over again with everything the same :)!!

I just have a few things to say about the Monterey Ballroom in Owatonna MN............WONDERFUL, GREAT, AWESOME!!!! My husband and I recently (October 2010) had our wedding reception at the Monterey Ballroom in Owatonna and would recommend it to anyone planning for their special day. Denyse, Mike, and their great staff made our day exactly what we wanted it to be. It was so easy to plan and meet with them with no problem! The taste test we had did no justice to the food that we actually ate the day of the wedding! It was so wonderful! We had so many compliments go out to the chef! We had the chicken with mushroom gravy sauce and the roast beef, and would definitely recommend it to everyone! The facility was clean, decorated beautifully and fit all of our needs for our day. To all of those who choose to write something bad, I cannot agree! We had a most wonderful experience and will definitely talk about our great service and wonderful night for years to come! Thanks to Denyse, Mike and all of your wonderful staff! You really know how to make a bride and groom feel comfortable and at ease on their wedding day! You helped direct us in alot of our decision making so we wouldn't forget anything, kept us on track for the night, and were VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Denyse and Mike made our wedding planning experience so much fun from the day we booked the venue to the time we walked out of the door at the end of our daughter's reception. Denyse answered our emails during planning always within 1 day and always with professionalism and great ideas. Every time we meet they managed to make it a fun, festive occasion and were always open to any requests we had. They helped us save money with their expertise and experience when we would have over orderd and over spent. They were great with working with the budget we set. Mike and his DJ team kept the party going from start to finish. All our guests were so impressed with service from appetizers through dinner and onto late night food. It tasted wonderful, looked beautiful and was a real value! Our guests are still raving about the whole experience. We couldn't have asked for anything more. To top it off, they had a special surprise for the bridal couple. The end of the evening was very special with photographs that we'll have forever to remember the wonderful day that the Monterey Ballroom helped us to create, because when it's all over, it's about the memories.
