Mike Lopez was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California.Part native American Chumash, Mike embraces the multicultural aspects of his deep roots and it is clearly reflected in his song writing today.The influence of his family holds an important role in Mike’s song writing.Mike has written numerous songs about his family’s lives and named his first CD after his grandfather, “Mike Lopez and The Vaqueros”.Presently Mike lives in Oceano, California and continues to write and he performs his original music with Barrett Nelson of San Mateo,California.
