In 2006 he was recognized by the local community and received the title of "Best of the Emerald Coast" in the category of BEST MUSICIAN/VOCALIST/BAND where he currently lives in Destin, FL. Michael mixes it up between his saxophone and DJ'ing the set list that you request whether it be hip-hop, rock, dance, or country. As an artist he has shared the stage with Sandi Patty and performed on the same bill as Dave Koz, Kirk Whalum, Mindi Abair, and many others.
