"Cussed me out and threatened me"
Mounds View, MN
November 21, 2011

We booked an event 6 weeks beforehand, and all we got was an automated response minutes after sending in our inquiry. I needed an invoice for our records, all they did was take my deposit and sent me nothing else. I continually called, emailed, and even spoke with Brian (owner?). He promised that he'd send an invoice, but none ever came. I reached out no less than 10 times over 6 weeks (phone, email, voicemail, etc) without anything more than a brief promise that confirmation of our event would come. One week before our event, I began to shop for other vendors because I was concerned that the company wasn't legit. I found another vendor that was responsive, prompt, courteous, and provided the information I needed to make our event a success and to provide them payment. I got no such thing from Magic Bounce. I sent an email to Brian explaining that we'd chosen another vendor for our event. Within 10 minutes I got a call from him (it's funny how quickly he was able to respond when he realized he was losing business). He had every explanation in the book for why he hadn't gotten me what I needed, including the fact that he was busy and he didn't get my voicemails because he his VM box was too full and he just stopped checking them. WHAT?!?!?! I told him that I was sorry that he was busy, but the lack of customer service and poor communication between his company and myself lent me to believe that the business wasn't legit, and I couldn't take the risk with my huge event that coming weekend. I had to look for alternative options. He then proceeded to get completely irate with me, cuss me out, and threaten to sue me. He told me that I was incompetent if his automated email from a computer wouldn't suffice for an invoice (our company needs more information than what was provided), that I was an $%#%$# for treating him like this, and that if he'd known I was going to be a #^%, he'd have collected the entire fee up front. He'd dedicated staff and the inflatables to our event, and now he was out the money, and what was I going to do about it? I told him that I felt bad that he was out the money, but as the consumer I had the right to choose a company with customer service and people skills, and if he was going to continue to name call and use inappropriate language, I'd end the call. He did, and I hung up. I wish that I was the only person who had problems with this vendor. Unfortunately, several of my friends have had similar experiences (I found out after this experience). They all have indicated that whenever there is a problem, they refuse to recognize issues and blame the customer rather than accept responsibility. The comments in this forum seem to substantiate this claim. Please, please, please, find another company to work with!

"Terrible customer service"
Lakeville, MN
October 19, 2011

I called Magic Bounce just to ask a question that would save me money (who doesn't want to save money?) and the guy that I talked to was extremely rude to me. That was definitely the worst customer service that I have ever received. I would not recommend using their services.

"Magic Bounce is the best of the best."

Magic Bounce is a top notch company. From the initial call to the party clean up....all was perfect. What we especially liked was the clean equipment. We have rented from the discount places and have had old bouncers delivered that looked bad and even smelled bad. The employees and owner were easy to work with and helped make the event fun for the kids. Magic Bounce is our first choice for inflatable rentals.

"Rude to Children"

Employee was extremely rude to the children. When I approached the owner to talk to him about his employee he was confrontational with me from the start and very rude. I see where his employee learned his behavior.
