Well to say the least i did not purchase a cake from this bakery. i was shopping for a cake for my friends office birthday and i had a picture of the cake i wanted. very cute, 1 tier round cake with a bow on top of it. of course each bakery has different prices and usually with a smaller bakery they would rather have returning business rather than price gouge you once or twice. so i hopped on facebook and googled a few places and this place popped up. seeing as how im at work i shot her a quick text including a picture of the cake and details. she came back with 65$....which is a little higher than expected. i asked her if she could possibly create the cake for 40$ as its our office budget and i will in the future only get my cakes from her. she then asked me if i was going to pick it up or if she had to drop it off...i told her i will pick it up...the woman went off on me! in a nut shell, she told me its "low" to ask her to come down on price, and if i had called her from a business phone she would have maybe considered doing it for 40$ and that the picture i sent her was of a sloppy cake and hers are obviously better since thats what "drew" me to her business. well, needless to say i didnt bother getting into a text argument haha. i also only found her business thru this website, so its not like shes so great ive heard all high and mighty things about her masterpiece cakes by word of mouth! i now have the cake ordered from a very great artist from manvel for 30$ and im sure it will be wonderful!
