Leta began to study violin and piano with her mother at age of four. She continued her violin lessons with violinists Nancy Tsung, Margaret Pressley and Ilkka Talvi. Leta has won the first prize of BYSO concerto in Seattle, and made her orchestral debut at age of fourteen. She has appeared on many stages including Benaroyoa Hall, Eastlake Performing Center, and Redmond Performing Center.
She has been the recipient of numerous awards as well as scholarships form Otto Corporation and the Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation. As a violinist and soloist, she has also made her recitals in Germany
