Landmark on the Sound, known as the "Castle on the Hill" for over 80 years, sits on bluff overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains in Des Moines, WA, just 25 minutes south of Downtown Seattle. Built in 1926 by the Grand Lodge of Washington, this majestic 120,000 sq. ft. building features several stately public rooms available for rental. We can accommodate up to 250 for meetings and concerts in our auditorium, or up to 150 guests for weddings, receptions, and formal events in our dining room. Our landscaped grounds cover 30 acres, and make a wonderful setting for outdoor events.
