Our daughter got married June 4, 2011 in Cookeville, Tn. We looked at many places for her wedding cake. We found that either the cake was beautiful and had an ok taste or the taste of the cake was delicious and the presentation of the cake was just ok. We wanted a cake that not only was a great presentation but one that tasted delicious. A friend of our daughters, recommended we try Julias Bakery in Murfreesboro. We made a reservation for a cake tasting. We loved the cake and the icing. We ordered our daughter's wedding cake by giving the flavors and a picture of the design for her cake. We found the price to be comparable with cakes in the surrounding areas of Cookeville even with delivery cost. We left and I, as the mother, was still nervous as to what the final cake would look like and taste. When the day arrived I had to be at the church early for wedding pictures and did not get to see the cake. my family, who was there for the delivery, told me that it was beautiful. When i walked in to the reception, my heart was filled with joy as the wedding cake was more beautiful than i had thought. Our daughter's face when she saw her wedding cake was priceless. She was soooo happy and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Our caterer cut the cake and served it. She commented that she had never served that much cake at a wedding before. We had lots of great compliments on the cake. They said it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. Several guests went back for more. We know what people thought as there was just a small circle on the inside of the huge 4 tier cake left to take home. The groom's cake was totally eaten. We highly recommend Julias Bakery for your wedding cake and groom's cake if you want a great tasting cake and a lot of compliments on your cake. Thanks Julias for helping make our daughters day an amazing one.
