Established for over 75 years Goehrig’s Bakery sits atop the Congress St. hill in the heights of Jersey City. We are a landmark European artisan bakery which continues to hold true to an Italian tradition of quality. The bakery is currently owned by Joseph and Nancy Gigante.



Joseph learned the art of baking and cake decorating at the prestigious Johnson & Wales University where he apprenticed under seven master bakers for 4 years. Joseph creates cakes for all occasions as well as classic pastries and breads. If you can dream it, Joseph can design it and thrill you with its presentation.
