Girl Talk is a long standing Bay Area Jazz trio (or also available as duet) performing music definitely off the beaten tracks. Guitarist (and cavaquinho player) Valerie Bach, brings Sephardic & 60's rock/blues into an exotic blend of music that combines with the soulful cello of Laura Boytz, along with the driving rhythms of bass & latin/mediterranean hand percussion. Sounds from the streets of NY to the tropics of Brasil, they create a latin feel/bluesy blend of jazz with roots from other times & other places.
