After visiting several venues, making countless calls and spending many hours waiting for someone to get back to us whenever they wanted, a friend referred us to Exclusive Banquet Hall. After Speaking with Jay and seeing the hall my husband and I knew right away this was where we were having our wedding. We were thrilled to be working with Jay and Liz throughout the entire process, they could not have been more helpful: from answering our emails in a timely manner, to helping us with the details of our wedding from color and style to lighting and DJ, to accommodating even our last minute requests. Liz helped us out with coordinating the entire wedding from (cake, flowers, linen, ideas.) You could tell that they really cared about our event and they did everything within their power to make my husband and I happy. Their attention to detail and professionalism won us over. The decor at the venue far exceeded what we imagined it to be, it was so beautiful!!! The staff was friendly and courteous. We were very pleased and could not have been happier. Thank you so much!! I would use this venue for any other event I do.

Our wedding reception was held at Exclusive Banquet Hall 05/2010 and it was the best! First, the initial consultation was so helpful! We were able to have all that we wanted for our wedding.J and Liz were great with their professionalism and helpfulness. The entire night was amazing which left an impression on all of our guests. It was more than I expected after my hubby and I walked in and saw the amazing job they did and the effort put in to make our day something always to remember. P.S. THE PACKAGE WAS VALUED MORE THAN WE PAID!!-VERY AFFORDABLE! Thank you to the entire staff for an amazing experience and hard work!!!! Will certainly recommend Exclusive Banquet Hall!!!!

I was motivated to write my review after seeing a nonconstructive posting among all the positive ones on this page, especially since it was geared towards Liz. My husband and I got Married at Exclusive on Nov 19th of 2011 and words cannot express the Gratitude in which we can describe our sincerest Satisfaction for the Attention to detail, beautification, set up and Professionalism in which both my husband and I received, along with all of our guest! Both Liz and Jay have the gift for Attention Detail and Organization. They work Very well as a team, and I was able to communicate at almost any given time with either of them. When you are planning your special day, there are many questions that come to mind and it is nice to know that they have the answer instantly for you! They, along with the entire staff made me feel like part of the family during the entire process from start to finish, their charisma, along with professionalism is truly Admirable. I am not going to comment anything towards the negative posting by the individual underneath my posting, all I would say is, it seems as that individual is a magnet of negativity and seems to generate all the wrong energies and experiences towards her life. It is obvious she was having a bad day since she made the limo driver wait for them an extended amount of time without thinking that it would not cost more, it is truly lack of consideration from here to have done so, a Limo transfer is what it is, a limo transfer. It picks you up from your pick up location and takes you to your destination. They have a courtesy up to 15 min of wait time, but if you surpass that because you are not ready, how would you think anyone else is accountable then yourself? Again, I will refrain from further commenting on her malicious posting and ill attempt to damage the reputation of others, specially Liz as whomever meets her will surely tell you she is the most genuine, patient, kind manner individual you would ever meet! To end this, I would say, don’t take my word for it, call, speak to either Jay and or Liz and ask your questions until you feel comfortable. You will discover that in south Florida, you will not find 2 other genuine, sincere and professional individuals/event coordinators as the dynamic team that Jay and Liz are! I had my wedding at this location. Unfortunately, my husband and I regret having our reception here on December 2011. Many things we were promised to have and due to the coordinator (Liz) personality we trusted. Many things were very nice and this was probably because I was on top of things, including decoration and cake. On the things I couldn't control is what became a nightmare. We chose to have the Limousine service in our package. It was rented from Exclusive banquet hall and it was for a one way trip only. We rented a different limousine for the rest of the day. I decided to use this limousine of the package from home to church. We were never told that there were going to be extra charges once it had exceeded 1/2 an hour. We were just told it was a one way trip rental. The driver waited about 10 mins. at home and took us about 25 mins. to get to the church. The driver of the limousine on our way to church was telling me that I needed to pay him for extra time and that the service was only for 30 mins. You can imagine on the day of my wedding, so nervous and having to deal with the driver all upset and with an attitude driving like crazy. At least, give us all the details in advance or maybe have the courtesy of renting the limousine for a full hour so the bride doesn't have unnecessary stress. When I got to church instead of looking at the mirror and fixing my veil I was on the phone with Liz almost crying asking her to talk to the driver and fix the issue. Next, They were supposed to open doors at 4PM, while we were having pictures taken somewhere else they were supposed to accommodate everyone. When i arrived at 5pm I almost had a heart attack when noticed the doors were still closed and all my guests at the bakery next door eating empanadas/pastries cause they were so hungry and wanted to sit down. Then, instead of the rice that we had ordered and had on contract they were changed at the last minute without our concern for green beans. Again, very upset since my husband, the groom, hates green beans, of course we didn't want to have something the groom didn't like. Not this day. Also, our "open bar" 2 hours after the reception started became a disaster. Our guests asking for whiskey, and they had no more, our guests had to keep drinking water until they went and purchased more which ended up being about an hour. One of my special guests, only drinks wine and the bartender told him wine is only served with the meal. He couldn't have a drink that night. My maid of honor asked for rum and coke cocktail and they gave her vodka and coke. Don't know if there are any words for this. Music- The DJ was supposed to be a professional one. We were told we wouldn't have any problems with him since he was one of the DJ's that works at a very nice night club in ft. Lauderdade. Well, we also had a problem with that. About two weeks before the event, Liz, the coordinator, requested list of songs I wanted played that day. If the DJ was really a "professional" then maybe he would have gone through the list at least the day before and maybe create a playlist for the event. Out of like 20 songs I requested only 3 were played. The music was not even close to what we wanted it to be. We were just dancing to songs we didn't even heard before. Also, the sound was terrible. The DJ was playing the songs from youtube and different songs played with different volume. Also, when it was the time for me to throw the bouquet, the DJ apparently had no idea how the routine goes. The maid of honor had to keep telling him what to say and what music to play during the game. Honestly, terrible!!! We are having our next event for a "quinces" this coming November and will definitely look for a different place to hold our event. I completely understand and also very realistic that usually something goes wrong the day of your wedding and even if you try your hardest it is not perfect. But honestly I wanted it to be as close as perfect as possible. After all, they had already gotten paid to do their job a week in advance. My advise for Exclusive banquet hall or for Liz is not to be one of the servers on the day of the event but just to have enough people to this job and maybe she could be in charge of coordinating and supervising and making sure everything goes how it is promised to the client and stick to the contract. I'm very happy I decided to go with a different photographer and not go with the one included in the package. I would've regretted it also. At least the pictures came out perfect!!! Thank God most of my guests were close friends and family and they understood the situation. But we were only getting married once and hoped for this day to be as magical as it could be and unfortunately ended up having a lot of headaches and disappointments.

Vendor response: Julie, we are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the way your event turned out. Though we respect your opinion, we are not able to agree with your evaluation. It seems as things went wrong for you since the moment the Limo company was made to wait beyond their customary 15 minute wait time. Unfortunately, these are their policy and is beyond our control. This is why we emphasis to please be ready 15 minutes prior to Limo arrival when obtaining your pick up address and drop off location. Going further than this, and getting into every detailed you expressed would not serve any purpose. You seem to have even taken shots at our photographer, whom was not present at your event, nor worked your event, and actually you have never even met. Automatically you have made assumptions on her service as well, which unfortunately goes to show your state of mind. To wrap this up, we do apologies if your event didn’t turn out to your expectations, however we assure you, time, efforts and much dedication was placed into attempting to fulfill on every detail you requested. We genuinely wish both of you Happiness in your new life together, as husband and wife. May God grant you all the joy and contentment there is in a beautiful marriage. I can't really express what I feel right now since the wedding was just recently but I would like to say that everything that I have planned was very well executed and even beyond what I expected. The venue was very well decorated and everything looked so beautiful. The staff were friendly and catered to all our needs. Liz has done a wonderful job. She is a multi-tasker. She is very friendly and professional. This is the place you want to hold all your events. They are the best! Thank you so so much for everything! Mr. and Mrs. Tony Peralta.

My Daughters Quinces was BEAUTIFUL! Ive dreamnt of this moment since she was a little girl, Exclusive made it possible for Family & Friends to celebrate and have Memorable Time. The service, food, and treatment was Great and Affordable! I am now considering having my husbands 50 yr Birthday there!
