I called him to inquire about booking him for a large event at a country club and he proceeded to inform me that I was looking to get a DJ for $50 per hour without even asking about my event or what my budget was. How in the world does a "professional" initiate a phone conversation like that? I immediately corrected his ridiculous assumption and informed him that my budget allowed for any quoted price, up to a couple of hundred dollars per hour. He then moved on and asked about the kind of music we wanted him to play. After stating the specific genre of music, he crassly said that he didn't have that type of music, he mentioned with some other "choice words" then hung up, leaving me stunned at the crazy interaction.
