DJ TIP aka Tyler Pettis was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL and currently attends Florida Gulf Coast University. That’s right this emerging Floridian DJ is still in college, but that hasn’t stopped his grind or focus. TIP developed an interest in music at the young age of 12 and by 13 he received his first set of turntables for Christmas. From that moment on TIP would spend countless hours, of non-stop mixing and cutting. With his imagination behind the turntables only being matched by his aspirations, TIP has started to create a local buzz for himself.
