I ordered a graduation CAKE FROM DIVINI DEE CAKES, and I made an extra visit there to make sure my order would be correct. When I picked up my cake, it was not placed in the middle of the board, but was sitting on the left edge. I had ordered strawberries to be placed all around the base of the cake, and found that they had been placed on one edge of the cake on the right side to compensate the cake not being centered. The owner wasn't there when I picked up my cake, and I was told I could work it out with her the following week. When I went back to the store to find out why my cake wasn't prepared as ordered. I was told by the owner that they had put extra strawberries on the cake that I had not been charged for, and that the owner had placed my cake on the board personally herself, so it couldn't have been off centered. The owner also told me that the girl who took my origional order no longer worked ther. That Let me know that there was a problem, or miscommunication about my order in the bakery. She had a very nasty attitude, and I told her that I had been recommending her bakery to many of my friends, which I would no longer do, and that It is a shame that she could not take responsibility for producing a cake that was incorrect, and not what I ordered. I would suggest that anyone who buys a cake from Divini Dee Cakes, do so with a grain of salt. The cake taste good but the owner can be a nasty piece of work if they make a mistake. Good Luck. I have found the bakery for all of my cakes. I have had both of my children's cakes and my husband,s and my boss's cake made by them in the last 6 months and have been very pleased from excellent service to the final crumb on my plate.
