Leesa seemed like a very easy going, party oriented DJ when we initially met. We had been searching for a DJ for a really long time and were getting fed up with the people we met. But meeting Leesa put us at ease, she has a really great energy and a great voice. Prior to the wedding I sent her an email with the music we wanted played for the ceremony and reception. Afterward I changed some of the music and I even called her to make sure she was aware of the change. She ensured me that she was and everything would be fine. She even went out of her way to make it to our rehearsal and she assured me once again that she had the music and everything was already taken care of. The actual day of the wedding she ruined our recessional song, she played the wrong song and didnt even play it on cue. After the ceremony when she was introducing the bridal party she messed up one of my bridesmaids names even though I put the phonetic spelling of her name on her paper. When it was time for our first dance she played the wrong song and proceeded to tell us that the song she played was right even though I know what I chose. Just when we thought it couldnt get any worse she failed to play songs from the top 40 which we also selected for our genre. And she didnt get the crowd involved at all. In our meetings I informed her that I wanted the reception to be fun and upbeat and I wanted her to interact with the crowd and she did none of that. Leesa is a very nice person and Im sure she is a great dj, but she failed to deliver a fun atmosphere at my wedding which was a big disappointment and the only thing that I disliked about the whole day.
