I contracted for an overnight luxury bus service with USA Bus Charter, they had a wonderful web site. Turns out they are a Broker who subcontracted this service to Dadds Magic Bus. After emailing and giving detailed instructions of pickup locations and time weeks and days before, the bus driver called me the night before to get the same instructions. Pickup was 20 minutes late. On the way the bus driver made an unscheduled stop for coffee, no problem. After 5 minutes on the road the brakes were on fire, I can only assume he left the emergency brakes on - another 30 minute delay. On the way back home the bus needed to make another stop to check for some mechanical problem, turns out both front tires were showing the steel cords, could have been disasterous, and could not continue the journey. Dadds sent a replacement bus. Big disappointment. What they sent was a shuttle bus with hard plactic seats and no air conditioning. Outside temperatures were 95+ degrees. Another 5 hour delay. Big disappointment overall.
