I was 12 when I happened upon my grandfather's half-broken 35mm Pentax film camera. I duct taped the pieces back together and an obsession for viewing the world as a series of stills to be set in frames and kept forever, was born. I photograph people because I have to. People fascinate me. I consider it an honor and privilege when invited into someone's world, to preserve their life story. I love deciphering an individual's unique quirks or translating the magnetism between two lovebirds into a tangible keepsake. Photography allows me to steal moments of nostalgia from eternity's grasp.
