Its never easy to plan a wedding, much less attempt to try to keep the finances all together. Weddings are expensive, more expensive then they really SHOULD be...In terms of Photography, MOST photographers overcharge greatly.
I believe that great photographs shouldn't be an OPTION, they just SHOULD BE! Money should be really spent on things like the location, catering, the dress and bridal party, things of that nature. With that being said, ALL my photography packages are VERY affordable!
