Whether it's weddings, candid portraits or sports; capturing the moment, emotion, or event is what photojournalism is all about. It's the content of a photograph stands the test of time; regardless if the photo is black & white or color, formal or candid. After decades of working as a news photographer, seeing and capturing the moment is second nature to me. The only way to convey someone’s story, event or wedding, is to capture it as it unfolds. I'm currently the Chief Photographer at the Telegram & Gazette and have won awards regionally, nationally and was a finalist for the Pulitzer prize.
