My wife and I attend many functions(formal)throughout the year. We moved to Port Charlotte 3 years ago, and used a few places before fiding them.. we actually had used another business on a friends reccomendation, but went back. Te sales staff in the store are very friendly and courteous. The gentleman that waits on me actually suggested to buy my own tux to save money. We will use them as often as possible!!

I went to this store for two reasons....to introduce myself as a new Make-up Artist in the area, and to ask about their Bridal Gowns, services, tuxedos, altering costs, etc. for my own clientele. I wanted to find friendly businesses in the area, and there's was close by. From the website I knew they had other Make-up Artists, and wanted to make sure they knew who I was up front, so they wouldn't 'push' their own service on my clients that had already hired me. I have brides/models asking about gowns and Vintage/Pin-up style dresses, that didn't want to drive all the way down/up to Port Charlotte if it wasn't worth their time and $$$. So I agreed to help them out, and visit the stores for them. Before I could even tell Charlotte Bridal my entire purpose for the visit, they were abrupt, rude...and then completely dismissed me. The man said he couldn't get to my email as they "get 400 emails a day." If this is the case, what if one of my brides/models emails? And that if I "want to pay $100.00 a month" that they "would place my business cards on the board." Pay $100.00 for a bulletin board? I said "thank you" and was on my way. Even if they were fixed with Make-up Artists, they certainly could have found a nicer way to dismiss me. It's unfortunate, the store had a nice atmosphere. There was one kind older woman that said "have a nice day" and seemed to really mean it. This came after the first woman and man's abruptness. They've possibly lost thousands in business referrals because I cannot, in good conscious, send anyone to them.
