Some couples are of mixed faiths and choose to have a spiritual ceremony instead of a religious one. Very disappointed,instead of calling us to cancel,claims to have sent email,something this important deserves a call,so notice of only four days we are scrambling to find some one that will be able to do service.Payed half of the fee in advanced and she says not sure how long it will be before we get our money back.
Vendor response: A call was placed before I had to move to Banning, CA to be with my 91year old father. A month before their date. I had to followed up with an e-mail as no answer to the message that was left. Included in the e-mail and message were of cause an apology and some solutions to this unfortunate problem. Including giving them the wedding script, sending them a Wedding Certificate the wedding party would sign. Trying to encourage this couple, letting them know they could have a family member or close friend read the renewal ceremony, as the need for a "legal" ceremony was not the issue. I would have worked with their chosen reader in all that would have made this day wonderful. This ceremony was canceled before due to a death in the family. At that point I could have kept the deposit of $100.00. I did not, money will be sent as soon as possible. I am so sorry for all of the problems this has created for all parties involved. The Brockman’s are a wonderful couple, I wish them continued happiness in their journey, Chaplain Debby
