These people defrauded us and about 15 other couples out the entire payment after they decided to shut down, knowing that they would be well in advance, and failed to give us our payment in full back, $1,055. Do not reserve this place, they will take your money too.

Overall the event center was nice and we had a nice event. The coordinator ariel before the event was great to work with, however we have had nothing but trouble getting our deposit back. Its now been two months since our event and we have yet to receive it, even after numerous emails and phone calls. They always have reasons and say it is going to be taken care of in the "next couple of days" but still no refund. In good faith, we paid this deposit 45 days before our event and we would expect to have it refunded to us. We left the event center clean as it was before we used it so there is no reason it shouldnt be refunded to us. Very disappointed with their customer service.

I'm sure you will not post this but at least it will make me feel better. We are the parents of the Groom Creed & Amanda Knee. When we arrived on Saturday morning to set up the rugs out front were dirty, the main bathroom had water around the toilet. I did my best to keep that picked up so somebody didn't slip. The cleaning supplies were a joke. If you call two old t-shirts your cleaning supplies that you had better invest in new ones! There were no supplies so how do you expect people to clean up afterwards! If you would be upfront we could of brought our own supplies. The kitchen had absolutely -0- water pressure which made it very hard to prepare and clean up! The outside lighting was awful. I just hope someone didn't fall! But of course I did supply the insurance coverage on your hall. We had a group of 20 people trying to clean up with no supplies and I think we did a pretty amazing job. I don't appreciate how you spoke to my family and you can bet that we will definitely spread the word that Century Hall is not a place to hold an event. It's too bad because it could be really nice but the management needs to take a course on how to provide customer service!

"Perfect place for a Wedding Reception!"

Century Hall was a perfect place to hold our wedding reception. It's a historic gem that is not well known. Everyone loved the venue. The beautiful wood beams and columns give the Hall a soft elegance. This wonderful setting looks nice even without a lot of decorating, making it perfect if you are sticking to a budget. It is so convenient to have the tables and chairs already at the venue. The chairs are cute by themselves but can be dressed up with a simple sash. No need for chair covers. The layout of the space was very convenient for all the nights’ activities. I was really impressed by the size of the kitchen. I would definitely recommend Century Hall to any Bride planning a wedding or reception, or to anyone seeking a venue with a nice ambiance. I would definitely rent Century Hall & Gardens again.
