Difficult to work with. Brillman's was supposed to manage the air conditioning at the Prallsville Mill, and failed miserably. The indoor temperature was over 85 degrees- guests were sweating and soaked. Several elderly guests had to leave as the heat was so unbearable and a danger to their health. We feel that Brillman's ruined the day. I never had a written estimate of costs and received the final bill less than 24 hours before the wedding, after taking a whole week to make corrections- linen colors were wrong, articles that I did not want were added, the cost was well above the verbal estimate. There was no apology. Brillman's denies any fault or problem.

Vendor response: Unfortunately this client had their daughter's wedding on the hottest July day of 2010, in a historic structure. The venue's a/c functioned properly and did the best job cooling as possible, given that the client's caterer (who is not on the approved listing) had critical doors and spaces that were not air conditioned opened resulting in a continually reducing the cool air available to her quests. Their rentals were exactly as ordered, because there were severe heat advisories issued that day, we had even provided additional tent fans to the site to help increase the circulation and cool areas that were not air conditioned to them. The client was provided with estimates in writing within a few days of their appointment to select their items which was only 35 days in advance of their wedding, as instructed by their non-approved caterer. The client provided many revisions over the 35 days leading up to their daughter's wedding. The staffing at her event at the site, as well as off did everything possible to be accomodating and manage the components of the situation that were controllable, with primary issue contiually being raised as the temp, the only negative comments are directed not at the site responsible for maintaining the venue space but simply at the party responsible for montoring the event. Because this site (decidio) does not require validation of the reviews or items stated within, thsi is the only site where this review is posted.
