"Questionable and Objectionable Business Practices"

I find this car service's business practices objectionable and inconsistent with quality service. I called Boston limo and made a reservation for a sedan about 36 hours in advance. The meeting I had was cancelled the following day. I called Boston Limo to cancel more than 12 hours in advance of my reservation only to be told that there was a $25.00 cancellation fee and it applied to any cancellations within 48 hours of the appointed pick-up time. I should have been told that when I made the reservation. It doesn't appear on their website, nor does it appear in the booking confirmation. There is a link in the fine print of their confirmation email to their so called "policy", but who is going to click on that? I have used car services on three continents over 35 years of business and leisure travel and I have never been charges a cancellation fee-not for a simple Lincoln Towncar. Additionally, they charge an automatic 20% gratuity. I thought tips were given relative to the level of service provided and not a given. To my mind, these are two very poor business practices and I will take my business elsewhere.
