I have traveled all over the world, lived in Europe & the Middle East. I became interested in various cuisines & started to experiment with tastes, spices, presentation; my career in food began.
The past 6 years I have catered events from 6 to 400 people.
I enjoy working with everyone.
Recently I have started giving cooking classes throughout the
Hill Country. Watching people discover the world through food has been very exciting. My clients continually challenge me to develop new dishes for their events.

I LOVE Bittersweet Cakes!!! As a waitress at exclusive country clubs for many years I've worked at least 500 weddings and tasted more than half of the wedding cakes. (that's a lot of cake!) I've been a very hard critic during these tastes and was skeptical in finding one for my wedding. My soon-to-be husband (a chef) and I absolutely love Bittersweet cakes!! Laura (the owner) was the ONLY person that gave me a true quote on price and spent time with us and got to know us and exactly what we wanted. Her cakes are so fresh and so delicious and we loved the selection of flavors we were able to have. My wedding is this Saturday and with all the stress of planning the wedding this is one thing I'm not worried about anymore! And I can't wait to have more cake! Thank you so much Laura! I'll definitely post after the wedding...
