The Bridge at Lakeland is a beautiful place. I had my wedding and reception there. My hausband and I was pleased at first to have choosen them as our venue for our special day. Then things took a turn. After we gave the banquet hall lady our deposit, she became hard to get intouch with. We would call her and email her only to get no answer. Once we finally got intouch with her, there was always a series of excuces. Then on my wedding day, it was catastrophic. First there was a lady there that did not know what she was doing. Then my wedding started late because they did not clean the unity candle holder. Then I was promised a isle runner for me to walk in on and when needed, they didn't have one. Ok, at this point I still remained calm. Then after pictures and everything, we needed our head table set up. We were looking for the people that work there and they were in the back eating my food that I haven't ate yet. Yes, this is so true. So after that we were in the reception and they turned the air off. It's July 31st. It's so hot. After all that is over and we began our life together, we were told that we would recieve our incedent deposit in two weeks. It has been almost two months. I have called her and emailed her to once again get no answers. I called again today and she tells us that we didn't pay a deposit. My fiance didn't know we had to pay one so she didn't make us. Now she was not going tho let us use her facilty without that insurance that if something was to be broken it could be replaced by the one who broke it. So, I'll let you be the judge. But with experience comes wisdom.
