Without a doubt, when ordering our cake, Annette was quite friendly and easy to work with and the cake tasted good. But... The ribbon on the cake was the wrong color. Annette refused to pick up the cake stand stating we had to send it to her (which we were not told at the time we placed our order and we have learned is NOT industry standard). After we had already left town after our wedding, we had to make arrangements with the hotel to Fed-Ex the stand back to her at our own expense. Our 1st anniversary cake was included in the cost of the contract. We had a difficult time contacting Annette to place the order (She had another family "emergency" - read other reviews) We finally got the 1st anniversary cake ordered. Drove and hour and a half to pick it up only to arrive to a locked store. Finally tracked Annette down to hear, "Sorry, I forgot to call you, I wasn't able to make your cake". "I can offer you $20 or make you a cake AFTER your anniversary". When talking to her, she refused to let us in the store and during our conversation, ran inside and locked the door! Annette breached her contract and was completely unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend her. NEVER! By the way, Google Ana’s Creative Baking and you will find several other negative feedback. Oh yeah, I couldn’t find Ana’s on “The Knot” even though she advertises being the 2008/2009 pick.
