I made a reservation for a 4:00am pick-up and ride to Orlando International Airport that had to be secured with a credit card as the service only accepts cash. I was given one price, $155 when I made that reservation, however when the limousine arrived the driver said he could not let me in the vehicle before he collected $198. Though this was not the original amount I had been told, he was the driver and I gave him $200, which he counted and said was correct. 3 miles later when he pulled in to a gas station at my request to stop for coffee, he said that I had only given him $185. I gave him $15 more. We arrived at the airport less than 45 minutes later because the driver said he had been driving 80 mph. The driver did not remove my luggage from the trunk until I took out my wallet. I only gave him 7 additional dollars as by that time I felt that the money I had already given him included the tip. He had already told me that he could not give me a receipt but would try to send one to my email address. He had no means of taking that information. Later that day I called the office from which I made the reservation(321-302-2970). The man to whom I spoke, claimed to be the owner, I believe his name is Jay. He was rude and did not allow me to tell him what had happened without interruption. He said I had been given a greatly reduced price for the limo service and was still not satisfied. He called me a profanity and hung up the phone. I called back the next day after trying to find a way to leave a complaint on line with the company but there is no mechanicanism for doing so. Yes I did tell him I would allow the Court of Public Opinion to determine if I had been treated fairly. After a visit to the Space Coast Limousine site, I learned that the cost of a super stretch limousine is $75 an hour. That being the case, I gave the driver $222 for the ride and was terrorized on the journey, which was less than an hour because by his own admission he drove 80mph. Jay and the driver discredit both the parent company and Space Cooast Limousine. I will neither risk using either company again nor recommend them to others.
