Phoebe and I want you to know how much we appreciate how well you did your job. Among the points we appreciate the most were that we never had to remind you about the volume level. We even had guests comment on how nice it was to be able to hold conversations at their tables. Yet the music was there, in the background, to enjoy and/or to dance to. You never tried to become the center of attraction, as we’ve seen so many DJs do. You were there to support what we wanted and keep it enjoyable – and you did it, beautifully. Your choice of music could not have been more to our taste. I don’t know how much of a role our daughter played in the selection. I expect, because of how busy she had become at work, that it was left mostly to you and you did it very well. You seemed to understand that the party was about us and our guests, not you.
