We ordered a rather expensive ($1,500) video package and experienced terrible service. First, we didn't get what was stated in the contract as two cameras for the ceremony, but worst of all is the fact that the one camera was never moved from it's tripod! We're supposed to get this beautiful video from a "true filmaker" and the entire ceremony section (more than half of the product) is done from the same place from beginning to end. Second big problem was that the bride was supposed to have been filmed getting ready before the ceremony...that never happened. The reception work wasn't bad--though very brief. Our wedding video took an incredible 5 months to arrive in our mailbox after the wedding, and not in any sort of a HD format (Blu-Ray/HD DVD) but in regular old Standard Def 480i...though the website is constantly pointing to shooting in 1080P. What's the big deal of shooting in 1080P if you only deliver a 480i product?!? So I asked and was told that I would receive a "free" Blu-Ray copy...1 1/2 years ago. I still haven't seen it. My biggest gripe with Joda "Joe" Hodge is the utter lack of customer service given the amount of money spent. Once you pay him in full do not ever expect a response to an email or a phone call. He was actually quite responsive to all instances of communication until the final payment was sent. Of all the services which we spent our hard-earned money on for our wedding, this was by far the most disappointing because (given his website) we expected it to be so great.
