A great wedding video was important to me. I knew what I wanted but I could not put it into words. I asked all my married friends for their opinion about their wedding videos. Two of them had their video done by a DJ or “entertainment company.” Their videos seemed to be about the “MC” -- the man got more attention than the bride and groom combined! (This was the cheapest alternative). Some other friends had their video done by photographers. These were good, but something was missing. One day as I was waiting for the train, I noticed a video playing on a TV in the front window of Marathon Video Services. I made it a point to pass by the store on my way back from the City to get a better look. I was happy I did. It probably was the best video I had ever seen. I immediately stopped in and made an appointment for my fiancé and I to come back the next day. We did and the rest is history. The staff at Marathon Video Services knew exactly what I wanted. From the time I booked it to the time I received my video it was service, service, and more service. I even asked them to recommend a photographer (I don’t like the posed, stiff look). Marathon Video Services recommended a great photographer and I love my proofs. I’ll be writing about him when I get my album. The bottom line: After all the time and money I spent on my wedding all that’s left is my video and my photos. My wedding video surpassed all my expectations and I don’ regret spending a little more for it!

Can’t say enough! We decided to get video two weeks before our wedding; a friend practically dragged us to marathon video. It was an incredible experience from the beginning, Alex spent hours with us discussing our wedding plans and showing us different wedding videos, once we found the style we wanted Diane took us under her wing and went over the paperwork. Then we dealt with Margaret who made us one incredible photomontage to show at the rehearsal dinner. The day of the wedding we met Paul our videographer: young, good looking, well mannered and, as we found out later, incredibly talented. When we got back from the honeymoon there was a call from Angela (our editor) who wanted to go over a couple of details. Three days later I picked up a preview DVD. My husband and I watched and then called Angela and gave her the ok to “burn” the chaptered DVDs. A day later everything was ready for us! I must have seen my video 50 times since then and every time I notice something I didn’t see before. I’m so glad we did it!
