My husband was very hesitant to pay "so much" for a photographer when so many amateurs are available at a much lower cost. However, that ideology was blown away completely the first time we met Megan. She made us feel so completely comfortable and was so easy to get along with! Not only did Something New Productions have the most competitive rate, but they also had the highest quality! She didn't treat us like we were just a paycheck- rather she went out of her way to make sure that we were taken care of every step of the way. Her personality is amazing and she is so funny- her sense of humor is essential to how she makes you feel so relaxed when you are working with her. Her husband Greg was just as amazing to work with and the two of them could not be a more perfect duo to assist us on our wedding day. They went above and beyond our wildest expectations and were so attentive, they put the bridal party to shame! Everyone in our wedding party raved about how much fun it was doing our photos rather than how stuffy and boring like most others are. The quality of the photos is amazing- we are the least photogenic people we know and we looked like something shot for a catalog. I recommend her highly for anyone that wants a relaxing and fun photo session with high quality. If boring poses and an angry bridal party is what you are seeking- they are not for you!

Something New Productions is one of my favorite photography agencies to work with. Not only do they go out of their way to make the day special for the bride and groom, they work so well with the DJ, the MC and the hall managers. You pay for what you get. With Something New Productions you will love the creative quality and the quantity of pictures in your package. If you want traditional posed wedding pictures, I would not recommend SNP. However, if you want fresh, artistic pictures that capture your personality and leave people asking, “who was your photographer?” Then you want Something New Productions!

Their ideas on unique photos are amazing but can also take a great traditional photo as well. From day one they feel like old friends you've know your whole life and that makes its super easy to be comfortable and natural with them, which really shows through in the photos. If I could have them follow me around everyday and take pictures of me I would because I know that they would come out amazing and show the true me. Something New Productions is completely worth every penny I spent and I would suggest them to anyone getting married!

Megan and Craig did amazing work. We planned our wedding from over 300 miles away and they were so helpful when it came towards the booking. They were very professional, but extremely laid back. My family and friends adore the pictures. And even now people still can't believe how beautiful the pictures are. They capture the moments that not everyone gets to see.... the tears, smiles, and lots of laughs. And believe me Craig can get a crowd to laugh! We are so glad we found them and they were available for our wedding. They do amazing work!! Keep it up!

I loved Something New Productions. Absolutely loved them. Megan and Craig were prompt, chatty and curious about us, coaxed adorable smiles and antics out of my most reticent little cousins (the flower girls), and were somehow unfailingly cheerful throughout their entire 12-hour creative workday. My family loved that they were so approachable and yet so professional, and need I say that their photographs were spectacular? Seriously, the most beautiful and insightful wedding photography I've ever seen; I never get tired of looking at my gorgeous wedding pictures. Aside from marrying my dream man in my dream gown, these photographers were the absolute best part of my day. I can't even imagine what it would have been like without them. We were so happy and comfortable with Craig and Megan, it was like they were part of the family.

My husband and I have been married for almost two years and any time I think back to our wedding I think of Megan and Craig. They were by far the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Because of them our house is filled with gorgeous photos that captured every special moment of one of the most important days of my life, but the photos are only the icing on the cake. During the planning process Megan was amazing, she always kept me up to date with what was going on and what I needed to be doing. When it felt like I was ready to pull my hair out trying to get in touch with some vendors Megan was the one calling me. She made sure that everything to do with the photography process went smoothly on the day of the wedding and on so many times leading up to the big day. On the big day Megan and Craig seem ready to handle anything that should come up. They were a huge help behind the scenes from tracking down missing champagne to helping me with getting my food in the buffet line. I hardly noticed they were there during a lot of the reception but Megan captured everything that we wanted and more. There were a number of wedding guests who commented to me how professional yet personable the Hammond's are. All in all they were a great addition to what was a magnificent day, and thanks to them I have amazing pictures to always remember it by. It's simple, if you are getting married anywhere in the mid west (or beyond, they travel too), hire these guys. Something New Productions was the second vendor that I hired and during our two year engagement I had a lot of second thoughts about everything, including vendors and even my dress, but never about these two. Megan and Craig are the absolute best, their pictures, their past customers, and their personalities speak for themselves.

In my opinion, wedding photography is THE most important decision you make for your wedding. It's all you have for your years to come. You can't save the food, you can't wear your dress everyday, but you CAN, and most likely will display your wedding pictures for the rest of your life. This is why you must pick a great photographer. As far as I'm concerned, you really can't get anyone better than Megan with Something New Productions. She's professional, she's extremely observant, she's VERY affordable, she's patient, and most importantly her pictures are to die for. She and Craig will take your already exciting wedding day to the next level. They bring such an element of fun and intimacy to the entire day. I didn't know photography like theirs was possible to get much less afford. I find any and every excuse to bring my wedding photo album with me wherever I go in case I run in to someone who may want to look at my pictures, and I've been married for 3 years. :) Craig and Megan go way above and beyond the call of duty for a photographer. They step in where help is needed, and leave people talking for days about how much fun the whole experience was. I can genuinely say that not only did they give me unbelievably beautiful photos, but I consider them friends as well. HIRE THEM.

We thoroughly enjoyed having Megan and Craig photograph our ceremony and reception on April 11, 2009. They did an amazing job, even patient enough to work with the 6 children under the age of 8 in our wedding party. We have also had family pictures taken by them in the past and I can not express enough, the amazing job they do with their photography. Their prices are very competitive and the artistic license they use is unbeatable. I can't imagine having had my wedding photographed by anyone else. They are very professional and go above and beyond the call of duty. Not only taking beautiful pictures, but also helping with venues, food and music. They are very friendly and personable. I have gotten nothing but compliments from everyone who's seen their work. Again...amazing job!

We were lucky enough to have Craig and Megan accompany us to Mexico for our wedding at Aventura Spa Palace. Their attention to detail and the absolute FUN we had with them was incredible. They were there when you needed anything, but we still felt like it was just the two of us while we were taking pictures. We had such a blast with them the entire day, but also at the Beach Shoot we did a couple of days later. We didn't have a clue where to go, and Craig arranged the cab, got us to the perfect beach - and then we went snorkeling afterwards! Super-super-super! We now also consider them great friends that we hope tag along on our anniversary trip in 2011!
