We specialize in gourmet cupcakes, and other cup-sized treats, baked fresh from scratch with natural ingredients including creamery butter, non-GMO flours, local fruits and real extracts. Preservatives and mixes are NEVER used here, plus we offer gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan options.
Although lavish cupcake wedding towers are our specialty, we cater everything from meetings to birthday events, even funerals.
Kids bake on Sundays! We empower kids by hosting children’s baking classes and baking birthday parties.

We loved all the cupcakes we ate. We were on our way to Frisco, NC to a wedding and came upon your wonderful store. Loved them.

i was a target the other day and i saw this little cupcake shop (so cute) so i decided to stop by and see what it was all about. since i was new i decided to just get a vanilla cupcake. all i can say is YUM! i will be there agian. Im turning 18 soon and thats what i want for my birthday (just a dozen cupcakes)

As the owner of Carolina Cupcakery, I offer my sincerest apologies for your experience. Although it's rare for us to get negative feedback about our employees (they're usually awesome), you can be sure it has been seriously addressed. As to the product review, we do NOT nor have we EVER used mixes and I'd encourage you to give us another try, invite you to take a tour of our kitchen? There's nothing to unearth here except for a lot of butter, flour and sugar! Regardless of your rating, the feedback is appreciated. We've only been open a little over a year, and we are still learning! Dawn

Once we got the attention of the two young girls working (they were to busy talking about their weekend plans) the cupcakes we purchased were nothing special-definitley tasted like a mix to me.
