We are a wife/husband team. I am an independent photographer and my husband is an experienced Videographer. We love to shoot together. I shoot what you want, but add so much more. I like to shoot a lot in macro (really close up). This makes for showing great emotion. I also like to move around and get those fun and funky shots. I used to be a correspondent for Free Speech TV- so I shoot a lot of documentary style photographs. My husband has been a video producer for over 8 years and has produced a multitude of media, from broadcast TV shows and commercials, to documentaries and wedding events.

We were a little skeptical in the beginning because we found them on Craigslist and were selecting them from out of town. However, communicating long distance turned out not to be a problem as they were very responsive and professional. Once we met them they were extremely down to earth and very flexible in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. They went above and beyond the call of duty by doing little things such as making sure we were fed, reassuring the bride when she was a little nervous, and helping the wedding coordinator set up the tables. They truly fit right in with our families. Once we got our pictures and DVD we were even more impressed. It seemed as if they were everywhere because they captured many moments that we had missed ourselves. Things that were quite special to us such as readable pictures of our wedding vows as we were reading them to each other. The editing of the dvd was great because it felt like a story more than a documentary in that it captured all of the right moments without showing things like an empty room for 5 minutes just for the sake of having everything in the footage. If you are looking for excellent quality at a good price you can't go wrong with BG Productions!

I live in califorina and got married in phila. So you can imagine how hard it was to plan our wedding. BG Productions were a god sent! they were so easy to talk to and plan things out with. I never worried about our photos or video of our special day! I wish I could move them here so they could take more amazing photos of our familiy!!! We are so happy with our video and photos of our wedding. Our son loves to watch our wedding video a few times a day!! We highly recommend them for your special day!! Also they are really fun people to get to know as well!!!

The pictures and video we received from Cathie and Al are wonderful. We have gotten so many compliments from everyone at the wedding on how hard they worked that day but also how much fun they were. My husband and I love them. We were married October 11, 2008 and BG Productions had the video and photos ready within three weeks. The quality of photos were so great that we are having difficulty picking which photos we would like for our album. Cathie doesn't do a lot of traditional pictures, she really likes the more candid photos. The candid shots she got at our wedding were amazing and everyone that has seen the photos so far loves them. I would highly recommend both Al and Cathie of BG Productions.

Cathie and Al were EXACTLY what we wanted in our wedding photography team (and then some!). They really worked to get to know our personalities throughout the planning process, and took shots that are reflective of who we are and the vibe we tried to create that day. They went above and beyond to capture some really amazing moments as they occurred naturally throughout the day. So often, I have experienced pushy or aggressive wedding photographers that interrupt the flow of the event and make the guests uncomfortable. Cathie and Al were the opposite of this - in fact all of my guests loved them and thought they were friends we hired for the occasion! We constantly continue to receive compliments on the quality of our wedding photos, and feel blessed to have them to cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommended.

I have worked with BG Productions on several occasions and they have NEVER let me down. Their service is reliable, they are completely non-intrusive yet still capture your entire event, their prices are great, and their product - AMAZING! We've used BG productions photography and video for a number of our big occasions; our baby shower, the birth of our daugther, our pregnancy shots, our yearly Christmas photo's, and many other events and have gotten rave reviews on our photographs from family and friends every single time. As I look around my house I notice that 90% of what I have framed around my house is a BG productions photo! We're just sorry we didn't know about them for our wedding. Their prices are about half of what others charge, including what our own wedding photographer charged, yet their quality is so much more modern and timelessly beautiful. I definitely consider them to be our family photographers.
