I wrote the origional Don't Hire Her and I am writing in response to the "Venders" comments. I did not recieve my photos yet. Yes I did get the proofs however I have paid for my album in full in addition to purchasing 2 parent albums and photos for my Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. I even selected the photos and orientation for the albums. My mother and I were in her studio picking everything out after my wedding. The photographer promised verbally in person, over the phone and on email that I would have my pictures within about 4 weeks. She even went as far as saying that she was running behind and that it would take a little more time to complete but that she would knock off half of the price of the additional photos I purchased. She also said she would ship them to me. I am still waiting. I think waiting nearly 4 years for my pictures is nearly 4 years too long. This photographer took my money and did not deliver the goods. I have sued her, and successfully I might add. I was awarded through the court all of my money back, any albums she may or may not have, my photo negatives or raw copies, the copyright release, as well as all legal fees. This photographer has changed her business name at least 3 times, hmmm, I wonder why. If the photographer reads this...My attorney awaits your response. I would like my photos and money back.

I came back to decidio today to search for a different type of vendor and thought I'd check my favorite wedding photographer to find that someone from 3 years ago posted something so horrible. I see that my favorite photographer has responded and it appears to have been a misunderstanding, which, even though appears to not be her fault, she is willing to fix it, just like I thought she would. She's wonderful. We were married in July of 2007 and she did a fantastic job. Our contract was very specific any how long we had to order, which was explained to us that in 2005 she had several clients that got married, got their proofs, and she never heard from them again. She even had one couple who's father scanned the proofs and took them to a local lab to have printed and got caught. It was explained to us that this particular couple lost everything because of the copyright issue. It's illegal to copy and print professional photos. Ordering your photos and albums is the the bride and grooms responsibility. The photographer doesn't have ESP. I would assume this angry client for whatever reason didn't reach my photographer to order. Also sounds like product changes occurred and they wouldn't accept them. That was going to cost the photographer more and they should have paid it, but it doesn't sound like they were willing to do anything. From her reply, she hasn't heard from thir client in over 2 years, so I feel very sad for my favorite photographer. Just to be ambushed by such a comment when the client is not even contacting her is just wrong. I know we all get busy, and we were as well (move to a new country, son graduating from high school, issue with my mother, etc) but we did it in the time frame provided. I hope that you will not hold this one person's comments against this wonderful woman and fantastic photographer. I have used her for wedding and portrait work and I am a customer for life!!!
