Brian James was amazing! Everything you could (and should) expect from a wedding photographer and more –– that is Brian James. From the first meeting up until the end of the reception, Brian was professional, easy-going, fun and very personable. If you could dream of your perfect wedding photographer, it would be Brian. And I promise you, I am not exaggerating. I believe in great service, and if I really like something / someone's work, I am passionate about getting the word out. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! His photos are fantastic. I've been married almost 2 years now and I still get comments raving about how beautiful they are. My wedding photos were very important to me. I didn't want your "everyday" wedding photos; I wanted photos that told a story, the ones that captured all the little details from the day and wrapped them all up into a nice neat package. And that's exactly what Brian did. My wedding day felt like a fairytale, and his pictures reflected that – the candid moments, the minute details...just perfect. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Brian James and our decision to hire him. I was planning my wedding from out of state, so making big decisions was a bit nerve-wrecking. I found Brian James just by googling "wedding photographer, Dayton, Ohio" and was really impressed with his portfolio. I inquired about pricing and availability, and got a very timely response. I made a commitment to use him as our wedding photographer even before meeting him! Another aspect about Brian that I was really pleased with was how inconspicuous he was throughout the entire day. I barely noticed him snapping shots – and from the pictures I got back, he was everywhere! Didn't miss a thing! Several guests mentioned this to me as well. I've been to weddings where the photographer(s) actually interrupt the guests to have them pose for pictures – we're not at prom...we're at a wedding! Like I said, very professional...not tacky in the least. He wasn't overpriced– though for the quality of his photos and overall professional demeanor, he could charge more. He didn't have hourly stipulations– the last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day is getting all your stuff done in the allotted time frame. And he didn't have a long turn-around time on getting us the photos. In fact, we were on our honeymoon and received an email that our picture DVDs had been mailed already! On top of all the good stuff I've already mentioned about Brian, he's also accredited by the Better Business Bureau and is a Certified Professional Photographer. So you can rest assured that you are paying for an amazing photographer and memories that will literally last a lifetime :)
