Because my wife was busy dealing with her wedding dress, shoes, flowers, and the rest of the girly stuff, I was assigned to find a photographer for our wedding. Though I know nothing about photography, I still like to think I have good taste in art and general aesthetic. After meeting with several photographers, we selected Heather Parker. She had experience with Jewish weddings which was very important to both of us, but I guess most important was that the kind of pictures she takes are refreshing. It didn't take long for us to get our proofs at all and with the great results, my inlaws have one more reason to trust my decision-making abilities!

I loved working with Heather on my wedding day. She was fun and quirky but professional and down to business at the same time. All the photos turns out beautifully. She surprised us in so many ways, like when she borrowed our rings and put them around a few stems of roses to snap a shot. Sometimes during the day I'd think to myself "this would be a great photo" and there she would almost magically appear. After we got back from our honeymoon, we had a sampling of great pictures in our email. I'm happy we went with her and I would very much recommend her.

Boy did we luck out when we booked Heather Parker for our wedding photography. Heather only delivers incredible photos, and she is a master of the genre. Her photography matches her personality. As a person, she is amazingly easy to have around-- she is kind, patient, empathetic, and supportive-- everything that you might want when you are stressed out and trying to plan a wedding and make sure that it goes smoothly. Her style is mostly candid, but he also has a great eye for capturing the details in photos that are posed/framed (there's a shot of our reception hall with the light filtering through the windows that looks like it belongs in a magazine). Afterwards, she had everything developed and prepared super quickly and was really easy to coordinate with.

We had two days of coverage that we hired Heather parker for. She arrived early, and was on top of things and didn't miss a moment, getting details even I didnt see. Thanks to the superb professionalism, the creative approach, and the natural vibe of Heather I have the pleasure of reliving my wedding over and over again. Every moment was captured, and then some. In addition to the candid style she is so renowned for, her ability to capture the many posed shots we wanted was beyond expectation. This was very important for our family. We were so very fortunate to have been referred to her. The personal care, attention and quality of her work was just what we were after. The photos are truly living documents to our henna and wedding. There is such feeling and expression in the work that it just puts you right back there, reliving every moment. The photography was delivered as contracted. There is no hesitation in recommending Heather Parker for every event that you want remembered.
