An actor's headshots are the most important piece of property they own. It is important to have great looking headshots that represent who you are as well as what you look like. Amy and Rob created a warm inviting environment so I felt comfortable and relaxed. This was key so they could capture my personality on their film. I really appreciate what they've done for me and my career!

Our company hired Boyle Jillson Photography to take pictures of the staff for our website. Of course, there was lots of grumbling about having to have pictures taken. However, Boyle Jillson had the brilliant idea of asking each person to bring in object(s) that represent who they are, and to take their photos with those objects (as well as traditional shots). There was lots of laughing and clowning around while photos were being snapped, and they managed to get great pictures of everyone--even those who objected to the whole idea! Both Amy and Rob went out of their way to make the experience comfortable, and even provided us with a video picture montage in time for our afternoon staff meeting. I would definitely recommend them to others for corporate photo shoots. They had lots of ideas, set up very professional lighting, and worked hard to keep the process moving along and the mood light.

I got to the location a few moments early and helped set up the space. During that time, I had a wonderful conversation with Amy and Rob. They were very relaxing and put me at ease. When I began my session, I was comfortable and happy. I will recommend them to all of my fellow performers who are in need of up-to-date looks.

Amy and Rob photographed our wedding this October. They were fabulous to work with leading up to to the wedding: open, professional, fun, and creative. The day of the wedding they were great. Their photos are wonderful - a perfect blend of informal/ formal, portrait/ candid. We could not have described a better outcome. We were able to view all of the images when we returned from our honeymoon. They went above and beyond.

We planned our wedding in a relatively short amount of time. I was just going to be happy with photographers who were competent. Instead, Boyle Jillson walked me through details that we didn't think about. Locations to take post wedding pictures, putting someone in charge of organizing important family/friend pics at the reception and scouting the church to check on the lighting. They even asked us if we wanted to take some pictures a couple weeks before the wedding at the Art Institute of Chicago's garden. Not only were we glad we did it, they had a video montage of the shoot emailed to us 3 hours later! They are also extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

We had both Amy and Rob for a double communion party and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. They were able to capture beautiful shots that we never would have been able to get. More importantly, we were able to enjoy the ceremony and watch it live rather than looking through a camera lens. The pictures are gorgeous, so gorgeous that I am having a hard time choosing which ones I want!

I've been very pleased with Boyle Jillson Photography. I've used them twice for professional photos of my daughter, and plan to use them again and again. They have a knack for capturing wonderful candid moments. Besides their artistic ability, they are great with customer-service: they always return emails/phone calls promptly; they post the photos for viewing shortly after the photo session is completed. All in all..a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them!!

My family of four had a very relaxed and fun photography session with Amy Boyle and Rob Jilson. We met in Chicago's Millenium Park, where Rob and Amy made use of the reflections off the famous "bean" for some very cool shots. They also made use of the dramatic band shell and landscaping for backgrounds. We had fun, as showed in the photos which were full of natural smiles. (That's saying something from the parent of a shutter shy grumpy teenaged boy)

Amy did a terrific job photographing the children in the choir--no easy task with so many faces and so much movement. Her photographs truly capture the moment, and were neither rehearsed nor staged. Her photography is both creative and artistic and provided a crystal clear glimpse into the art of our music making.
