After we paid Renee she became impossible to get a hold of. She never returned calls or emails. After leaving her more then 5 very angry messages she finally came over to give us our 4x6's. Only problem, she lost half of our pictures! There were no photos of just me and my husband, my husband and his grooms men, or of him and his family. 100's of photos gone with no good explanation. I would have thought after doing that to us everything else would be great but I again was wrong. We didn't get any ordered pictures, our album, or the parents album until we threatened to sue her....more then a year after our wedding. Renee is a very nice and seems to be a very caring person, but her work ethic is awful. Makes me so upset to even think about it again. Luckily we had a videographer at our wedding, otherwise we wouldn't have had any of those special moments captured.

Renee did my wedding in 2005. I can tell you that everything was professional and timely back then. It sounds like something is really wrong because these four reviews sound NOTHING like the Renee that we worked with. Our photos were gorgeous, she was great, and we felt very comfortable with her. Good luck everyone. I'm really sorry about your wedding photos!!

My husband and I were married in May 2007 and Renee Ritchie photographed our wedding. The photographs were beautiful and we recieved our proofs but have not been able to reach her to get a disc of our negatives. Unfortuneately, without that, we will have nothing but a box of 4x6s of our wedding day. Renee's website is down and she will NOT return phone calls. This is crazy because we want to pay her for our negatives! I would not recommend Renee Ritchie for your wedding photography.

Have only got as far as taking our engagement photos with her, two months later. Still NO photos. I've emailed her NUMEROUS times, and called her to which she has not responded to any. I now have to find a new photographer 8 months before the wedding!!

"More than a year later, still no albums..."

Our wedding was October 21, 2006. More than a year later, we still have not receive our already paid for wedding albums (guess we were too trusting...). I am still trying to contact Renee today (11/28/07), but with NO responses (constant emails & voicemails)...

Our wedding was Sept 8, 2007 and we have been trying to contact Renee Ritchie ever since. We have emailed and left several Voicemails and have not had one response from her. Her contract states that we should of had our Proofs approx. 45 days after our event (wedding). I am scared that we have paid $3000 and may never see our wedding photos. If anyone knows if something has happened to her please let me know via a post on this website. She did a great job leading up to the wedding and at the wedding. So, we don't understand what is going on. I am very sad that we may not have wedding photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
